Fine Art Camps

Young artists love coming to the Orange Art Center as it is in a welcoming, renovated home nestled in a park setting. Perfect for creating and having amazing outdoor space to play. Space is limited and will fill quickly so please register early.

Register before April 15 and save $25 on all one-week camps, unless otherwise noted.
 
Clay Creators Art Camp
Ages 7 - 11 
Slip on an OAC potter’s apron and let’s get messy! Clay creator campers will experience hands-on pottery techniques to create mini-sculptures, pinch pots and coil building projects. Their artwork will be glazed and kiln fired that achieves the functional and fantastical. All supplies provided.

Cartooning, Comics + Beyond Art Camp
Ages 9 - 13 
Storyboards. Caricatures. Sketching. Oh My! Campers will develop a diverse set of skills through history of cartooning lectures and studio work that includes a variety of 3-D characters, Pop Art influenced comic books, comic strips and novels. Campers will create their own personalized portfolio. All supplies provided.

Fly Away To Fairyland Art Camp
Ages 5 - 7 
Soar to the OAC to make your very own magical fairyland. Campers will develop their own personalized fairy story and then use Sculpey polymer clay to create a fairy house, fairies and animals to build a one-of-a-kind fairy paradise. Each fairyland will be installed on a vessel covered in foraged botanicals and mini stones that can be easily transported home. All supplies provided.

Snap + Blocks Sculpture Art Camp
Ages 6 - 9 
Lego blocks are the new art and science medium! Campers act as designers by developing stories that evolve into sculptures using Lego blocks and a multitude of building materials. This camp promotes creativity, imaginative storytelling and self-expression while having summer fun and working in a creative team environment. All supplies provided.
