COVID-19 has changed the way we are able to deliver programs and activities. Camps, sports, aquatics, activities, and events have been modified to meet all state of Ohio and CDC guidelines. Some of our activities, such as our full day camp and before/after camp care, have been canceled, while others, including our Seize the Summer Camp have been added.
Our Summer Guide, which includes important safety information, is available here.

Orange Early Childhood offers a variety of themed one-week camps. Each camp includes delicious snacks, at least 2 field trips, and swimming twice a week at the Orange Pool Splash Area. New this summer, families may register for extended
care by the week or for all 8 weeks.
Each camp is thoughtfully designed with a combination of fun and educational activities for children ages 3-5. Prior to the start of each camp week, parents and campers can expect to receive information by email with a reminder of all the exciting things taking place at camp the following week. Please note that children must be potty-trained to attend camp. While we work hard to stay on schedule, please note that field trips are subject to change.
Adaptive Preschool Camps
Orange Community Education & Recreation seeks to create and promote inclusion across all facilities, programs and classes, including summer camps! Our goal is to ensure that all individuals have equitable access to the benefits of high-quality educational and recreational programs that foster social, emotional, physical and cognitive growth. We aim to make our programs as inclusive as possible, but we also offer a variety of adaptive camps to meet your child’s needs as well.
Our seasoned, dedicated staff are trained in working with children of all abilities and our instructors are highly skilled in their area of expertise, have extensive experience working with children and demonstrate the ability to embrace the inclusive nature of our organization. Our staff members are supported by volunteers that offer specialized support for all students in our programs.
For those parents that would find it helpful, we are happy to meet with you before camp begins to learn more about your child and create an individualized accommodation plan. The plan is not required, but it can help us identify what makes a good fit and let us learn more about your child so we can work together with you for a successful summer camp experience. Contact Kelly Borders, M.Ed. at 216-831-8601 x5423 or email@example.com for details or to schedule a one-on-one meeting.
