Recreation Commission

The Orange Community Education & Recreation Commission is this department's advisory council providing support and feedback so that a varied range of recreational and educational activities may be provided to area residents in accordance with the department's mission. Commission at-large and governmental representatives act as community liaisons by sharing community feedback with the department's Director and leadership team and by encouraging the broadest possible involvement of area residents in the department's programs, projects and services.

The Recreation Commission meets monthly on the second Tuesday of each month at 6:30pm at the Pepper Pike Learning. Residents are encouraged to attend Commission meetings or consider filling periodic representative vacancies.  Feel free to contact any of the following Commission members with ideas and questions.

The Recreation Commission currently has openings for At-Large Members, Hunting Valley representative and Pepper Pike representative members. Interested individuals should complete the application found here..

Individuals interested in serving as village / city representatives should also contact their Mayor's office as those positions are confirmed and appointed by the Mayor.
