Commission Directory 2011 - 2012

The Orange Community Education & Recreation Department creates a variety of opportunities for citizen involvement through its Commission, through various advisory councils and through focus groups.

The Orange Community Education & Recreation Commission is this department's advisory council providing support and feedback so that a varied range of recreational and educational activities may be provided to area residents in accordance with the department's mission and the school district's mission. Commission at large and governmental representatives act as community liaisons by sharing community feedback with the department's Director and leadership team and by encouraging the broadest possible involvement of area residents in the department's programs, projects and services.

The Commission meets monthly, usually the second Tuesday of each month at 6:30pm at the Pepper Pike Learning Center. Residents are encourage to attend or consider filling periodic representative vacancies and may contact any of the following Commission members with ideas and questions.
