Moving Forward Strategically

In February, 2023, OCER asked for and received a tremendous amount of input from community members, through surveys, needs assessments, and focus groups as part of the creation of OCER's strategic plan. We are grateful to those who took the time to share with us their needs, their interests and their OCER experiences.

The data gathered was used to build a roadmap that will guide OCER’s actions, priorities, and goals over the next 3 – 5 years in four areas: policies and funding; communication and relationships; facilities, and participant needs. We have outlined areas of opportunity and growth, opportunities for improvement, and ways in which we can continue to support and serve the community through recreational and educational programs and services for all ages and abilities.

OCER’s strategic plan will serve as a compass and will help us to continue to fulfill our mission of creating opportunities for everyone to learn, discover, be active, and have fun.
