Before/After School Group Leader Position Opening
Orange Community Education and Recreation is currently seeking a part-time Group Leader for the Open Door Before/After School program located at Pepper Pike Learning Center office on the campus of Orange School District. The successful candidate will possess professional experience working in and implementing a school age child care program in a similar non-profit educational/recreational setting; knowledge of child development and a solid commitment to serving children and families in a non-profit, public service arena; and excellent organizational and customer relation skills. The ability to handle and prioritize diverse and changing duties with solid commitment to serving the families of the community and work with a team of community education and recreation professionals in public school setting is essential.
A high school diploma or equivalent is required and the preferred candidate will be in process of acquiring a degree in teaching or related field or have extensive experience working with school age children in a similar setting. Certificate in First Aid and CPR is also required. Salary: $10.00 /hour
