Flyer for the Orange Community Art Fest 2026

Orange Art Center (OAC), a division of Orange Community Education & Recreation, invites the community to the second annual Orange Community Art Fest on Saturday, August 15, 2026, from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm. This free, family-friendly festival celebrates creativity, connection, and community through interactive art experiences for all ages. This year's festival also comes as the Art Center marks 10 years as part of Orange Community Education & Recreation.

Guests can spend the day exploring hands-on art activities, touring OAC classrooms and studios, and meeting the instructors and artists who make the Orange Art Center a hub of creativity. The festival also features vendor tents with local artists and makers, live demonstrations, a community mural project, and interactive stations designed for both kids and adults.

“The Orange Art Center is about community first,” says Destyni Green, Art Center Coordinator. “Our Art Fest brings students, instructors, local artists, and neighbors together in one place to create something side by side. That connection is what the OAC is built on, and this festival is our way of sharing it with everyone”.

Make + Take Art Stations and Live Demonstrations: Visitors of all ages can get creative with free make-and-take art projects throughout the day, then stick around to watch OAC instructors in action with live demonstrations across a range of media.

Community Mural with Snack Break Studio: Festivalgoers are invited to help paint the second Orange Community Art Fest mural alongside artist team Snack Break Studio, the partnership of graphic designer Kim Lavery and painter Roni Callahan. This live, collaborative painting experience welcomes community members of all ages to contribute to a mural celebrating the arts.

Vendor Tents Featuring Local Artists and Makers: A curated group of Northeast Ohio artists and craftspeople will offer original, one-of-a-kind work for sale, including abstract paintings, fine art prints, handmade jewelry, ceramics, photography, textiles, and more.

Open House and Emerging Artist in Residence Exhibit Opening: Inside the Art Center, guests can explore open studios, meet instructors, and enjoy hands-on activities throughout the day. Art Fest also marks the opening of a new solo exhibition by Liam Mealey, OAC’s current Emerging Artist in Residence. Visitors can meet the artist and be among the first to view his nature-inspired works exploring environmentalism, endangered species, and the reintroduction of the wolf in Ohio.

Food Truck and Picnic Area: Guests can grab a taco or a refreshing drink from SIG Taco Truck and relax in a shaded picnic area on the festival grounds.

And much more!
