It has been a busy and exciting season for the Early Childhood division! We wrapped up another wonderful summer camp filled with adventure, laughter, and plenty of opportunities to make new friends. Our campers enjoyed a summer packed with fun field trips and experiences, including visits to Patterson Fruit Farm, the Cleveland Zoo, the Children’s Museum, and Brainard Spray Park, just to name a few! From exploring new places to enjoying time together back at school, it was a summer full of special memories for our campers and staff.
Our preschool, Orange Early Childhood (OEC), kicked off the 2026–2027 school year with a fantastic team-building professional development day led by Beth Cannon, an experienced leadership coach and professional development facilitator who specializes in helping educators and teams grow as leaders. Beth challenged our staff to strengthen relationships, build trust, and reflect on how we can work together to create the very best experience for our students and families. We are also thrilled to welcome four new teachers to the OEC team: Heather Serdio, Abigail Friedman, Lisa Hammond, and Ilona Grazi! Their experience, energy, and enthusiasm have already made a wonderful addition to our preschool family.
One of the most meaningful parts of this season has been welcoming new families into our community, including some who were looking for another preschool home after The Ratner School closed over the summer. We are excited to welcome new children and families and are honored to be a part of their next chapter. As we begin a new school year, we are looking forward to a year filled with learning, growth, connection, and lots of fun. We are so proud of our OEC team and grateful for the continued support of our Orange community!
