Orange Area Service Committee
The Orange Area Service Committee (OASC) directs gifts and services of individuals and community organizations to provide emergency assistance and coordinates programs and assistance for families in the Orange School District. Orange Alumni AssociationThe Orange Alumni Association is a tax exempt organization under 501(c)3 of the Internal Revenue Code. The Alumni Association, established in 1988, maintains an active database of more than 6,500 alumni of Orange Schools. The organization hosts an annual Alumni Day, organizes Hall of Fame awards, gives yearly scholarships to graduates who are sons or daughters of alumni, publishes a newsletter and supports reunion committees. Orange Schools Foundation Orange School Foundation is one of nearly 5,000 education foundations across the country that provides a source of revenue generation to their respective school districts. Orange Elementary and Middle School PTAThe Elementary and Middle School PTA is a vital link between parents, teachers and community members. The group's purpose is to enrich the emotional, academic, and environmental experience of the children who attend OIP, MHS, and BMS through fundraising and programming.

Orange High School PTAThe Orange High School Parent Teacher Association ("OHS PTA") provides communication and fosters a closer relationship between Orange High School and the families of our students. We provide many services to the schools, promote the welfare of students, and work with the schools to provide quality education for all young people in the Orange School District.

Lander Circle Kiwanis ClubThe Kiwanis Club, a community service organization, benefits many school and community projects. Working with students through the Builder's Clubs on the Orange Campus, and sponsoring Orange Schools Teacher-of -the-Year awards and Kiwanis Student of the Month honors. Funds are raised through the Annual Rummage Sale in July on the Orange campus. Meetings are Monday, 6:30 p.m., Garfield Memorial Church. Officers change in October. New members welcome. Boy Scouts of America - Troop 309It is the mission of the Boy Scouts to serve others by helping to instill values in young people, prepare them to make ethical choices during their lifetime and help them achieve their full potential. Girl Scouts of AmericaThe Girl Scouts mission is to provide a value-based program for girls to help them become confident, resourceful, responsible young women. Emphasis is in five areas: the world of people, the world of well being, today and tomorrow, world of the arts, and world of the outdoors. Meetings are biweekly or as determined. Jewish Family Services AssociationJFSA is a full service mental health agency offering individual, couple, family and group counseling for children and adults. Specialized services are also available to help with chemical dependency, family violence, divorce, planning for the needs of the elderly, the mentally disabled and those with mental retardation and developmental disabilities. A divorce mediation service is available to help couples without costly litigation. Our Historical Society welcomes members and input from all communities. Our principal focus is the early life of our 20th President, James Abram Garfield. We welcome visitors to Garfield's 1830's replica log cabin Saturdays, June through September from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Group tours can be scheduled and self-guided walks to the birth site can be enjoyed anytime during daylight hours.
