Orange Community Education & Recreation, along with Orange City School District, has partnered with The Impact Group, a Hudson-based organizational team, to conduct simultaneous strategic plans.
OCER intends to use this plan to set a 3-5-year course to actualize our mission “to build and engage our community through the development and delivery of excellent learning, discovery, and active recreational experiences for all.”
Residents of Orange City School district and OCER stakeholders are crucial to the development of this plan and we want your input. The Impact Group will lead a series of focus groups on the dates/times listed below to gather data and ensure our stakeholders have the opportunity to provide feedback on our organization, including youth and adult recreation, sports, early childhood preschool, Orange Senior Center, Orange Art Center, aquatics, theatre, adaptive recreation, and our facilities.

A: | OCER continues to experience growth in participation and facility usage. We anticipate using the plan to guide us in the development of new activities, events and opportunities for recreational and educational experiences for all over the next 3 - 5 years. Quarterly staff assignments and check-ins are built into the plan for accountability and longevity. |
