Safety Town Volunteers
This opportunity for teens currently in 8th grade or older encourages responsible, team-oriented teens to work with Safety Town staff and local police officers to help teach children entering kindergarten about safety. Safety Town takes place July 30 - August 3, 8:30 am - 4:30 pm and volunteers are required to be in attendance the whole week. This opportunity is a perfect way to earn community service hours. Volunteer applications for Safety Town will be available here in mid-April. A mandatory training session for all volunteers will be held Friday, July 27.
