Orange Community Education & Recreation, through the Orange Senior Center, serves as the Office on Aging for the greater Orange School District. Referrals of licensed counselors, who can answer questions, provide in-home visits, access information and make referrals to other organizations as necessary, are a phone call away. Do you need applications for an RTA pass, HEAP or Handicapped Parking? Need to borrow medical equipment for short-term use? The Orange Senior Center is your resource. Caregiver Support Group
Third Tuesday of each month, 2 - 3 pm, $2 donation requested
A professionally facilitated support group meets the third Tuesday of the month to discuss resources, tools and techniques. Participants share and learn from one another in a supportive and confidential environment. This program is supported through by Western Reserve Area Agency on Aging.
Class Scholarships Are Available
Would you like to be a more active participant at the Orange Senior Center, but your current financial situation prohibits your participation? The Senior Center Activity Resource Fund (SCARF) is here to help Orange School District residents. This fund is made possible through a generous contribution by the Parker Family and The Wallace Fund. Need Transportation?
Transportation to Orange Senior Center and local physicians' offices can be coordinated by the Senior Center through Orange Senior Center Transportation services. For more information, click

Podiatry Services
Regular podiatry care is recommended for seniors, espcially those with diabetes, arthritis and other physical restrictions. Consult with our Podiatrist in a comfortable setting at the Orange Senior Center. Make an appointment by calling us at (216) 831-860, ext 5700.
Individual Reiki
Reiki is a healing technique based on the principle that the therapist can channel energy into the patient by means of touch, to activate the natural healing processes of the patient's body and restore physical and emotional well-being. A Reiki practitioner visits Orange Senior Center once a month. Call the center for dates or to make an appointment.
Medicare Options: One-on-One Counseling
The Orange Senior Center hosts representatives from the Ohio Senior Health Insurance Information program ona regular basis. These helpful representatives will meet with you to discuss your Medicare benefits and explain your options. They can also provide resources to help you get the help you need.
